Marco Bartolo:

Hello! My name is Marco. I’m a life long resident of Western Massachusetts and art has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I used to sit and draw Disney characters with my mom and was always getting scolded in school for doodling all over my notebooks and folders. Though I have pursued art my whole life, it took many years after college to chase my dreams. During the pandemic I decided it was time to make a huge change. I started off my apprenticeship in Amherst Massachusetts where I worked to change the town law to allow apprentices. After two years I find myself here at Black Labyrinth Tattoo Syndicate and I couldn’t be more excited!

As a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, I set off my career with a goal to shake up the industry and to create a safe, open, and inclusive environment for every person who chooses me as their artist. I love working in black and grey, but am completely open to color work as well. My favorite subjects are taken from the natural world such as animals and plants, but with a witchy and occult twist. Bring everything witchy my way! My styles include delicate fine line, illustrative, traditional, and of course esoteric work.

Outside of tattooing, I love spending time in nature or with animals, especially my dog, Gino. I’m a huge music and movie fan with a love of a wide range of genres.
